Studies Of Aesthetics On XingLing Theory Of Yuan Mei

As a great poet of XingLing theory and litterateur of strong character and great talent in the middle of Qing Dynasty,Yuan Mei had an outstanding and multiple poetics and he actually was top of "three greatest poets during the reign of Emperors Qian Long and Jia Qing". Yuan Mei's XingLing theory freed the poetic creation from the prevailing dogmas on style and text of that times So he promoted the conceptual emancipation of literature and return of poesies's main function—expressing human feelings. Yuan Mei's poems and his theory on literature focused on human beings and personalities ,which is his contribution to literature .The paper mainly discusses aestheticism on XingLing theory based on complete reading of Yuan Mei's poems.Moreover ,XingLing theory is studied by historical method . The thesis is composed of a prologue ,four chapters and an epilogue .Firstly how aesthetics on XingLing theory formed historically and theoretically is probed ,it expourds the background of XingLing theory from the three aspects of politic, economy and culture ,and also analyses the semantic understanding of XingLing .Then the spirit of XingLing theory is embodied in three aspects :true feeling personality and poesy . The core of XingLing theory is temper especially true feeling .Yuan Mei thinks the substance of a poem is to convey temper ,the poet's feeling embodies not only the truth but also the personality . Yuan Mei himself has bright and strong individualism His theory of personality is "show myself on his creation . Furthermore , he thinks poets must have the artistic talent to display XingLing and can freely describe the vigorous image to express XingLing vividly just the sounds of nature . At last the great influence ofhis theory is reviewed in this paper . Yuan Mei's poems and literal theory focused on people's ordinary life which represented people's naive beauty and aestheticism.In this paper Yuan Mei's XingLing theory is explored in multiple aspects and levels so that the analysis and comments are made impersonally . Yuan Mei's aestheticism still sparks nowadays ,guides our researches on aesthetics and reminds us that we should pay more attention to our real life .
