On The History Of Nanlou Building Of The Yellow Crane Tower

The Nanlou Building of the Park of the Yellow Crane Tower, located in Wuchang of Wuhan city, was built in late Tang Dynasty. This building expierenced several catastrophes in nearly 1000 years. Because of its repute, a lot of literators came here and made poem. This article deals with the time when the building was constructed at first, the reason why this building was built, the location of the building firstly, the history of its name, and the evolution of the bulding. With my textual research, I think that the buildingwas constructed in late Tang Dynasty, which located in the address of the Baiyun Pavilion nowadays. The name, Nanlou, came from the name of the building where Yuliang , the senior general of the Eastern Jing Dynasty, had visited,located in Wuchang(Ezhou city), as the memorial for him.This article focus on the Song Dynasty, probing into the long history of this building from the commerce of the area of Ezhou, the population, the status of hinge, and the location of the building. I think that the prosperity of this building was based on the developed commercial economy of Nancao market in Ezhou, the densely population, the significant hinge the profound cutural details and its special location. On the foudation of the textual research ,1 further probe into the cultural intention of the Nanlou building, and get its conception. At last, the rule of its evolution was concluded.
