The 14th -15th century, Byzantine Empire was controlled by the Palaeologa imperialcourt. But it was not an real empire like its name, because its territory reduced sharply, politicswas confused, imperial throne has been unceasing, economy declined, the society sufferedunrest, and the menace of the strong Turkey was more and more increased. In such internaland external hard condition, the Byzantine Empire only can focus their eyes on westerncountries to cry for help, and it want to be with their help to defeat strong Turkey by means ofthe east and west church union. So Byzantine emperors and many famous scholars carried on aseries of positive activities, they walked between Constantinople and Italy frequently. Thoughthey haven't obtained the help of western countries, their activities deepened the culturerelations between the east and the west, and their cultural activities made Italian in renaissanceperiod touch and learn the classical culture which have been lost several centuries, and bywhich they were attracted deeply. They started a thought-liberated movement to revive theclassical culture. We can say that the activities of the Byzantine literati pushed forward theItaly renaissance movement and promoted the development of the western culture, and theyadded to more thicker and magnificent color for the thousands years Byzantine civilizationpicture scroll.The text was divided into three parts: the first chapter introduces the Byzantineliterati composition and education manners, and expounds Byzantine Empire keeps thousandsyears of classical cultural tradition by means of consummate education system, plentifuleducation content and classical education method. At the same time, because Byzantiumvalues the education, Byzantine literati play a important role in the society. The second chaptermainly introduces Byzantine literati's important activities included political and culturalactivities from 14th-15th which increased the cultural relations between Byzantine Empire andItaly. It is the period that Italy renaissance begins and develops, therefore, their activitiesstimulated the development of Italy renaissance. The third chapter mainly expounds whatinfluence Byzantine literati affect the Italy renaissance. With the influence, Italy renaissanceappears a new development direction.
