While reading Chinese descriptive text with the same difficulty, the number of fixation and the number of saccade of wholist cognitive style individuals were fewer than those of analytic cognitive style individuals. The average saccade amplitude of wholist cognitive style individuals was longer than that of analytic cognitive style individuals. The difficulty of articles influence the indexes of eye movement of reading Chinese descriptive text. The number of fixation, the average fixation duration, the number of saccade and the average pupil area of individuals with the same cognitive style were fewer while reading the easy Chinese descriptive text than those of individuals while reading difficult Chinese descriptive text; and the average saccade amplitude of individuals with the same cognitive style while reading the easy Chinese descriptive text was longer than that of individuals with the same cognitive style while reading the difficult Chinese descriptive text. The difficulty of articles influence the indexes of eye movement of reading Chinese descriptive text of individuals with different cognitive style. While reading difficult Chinese descriptive text, the number of fixation and the number of saccade of wholist cognitive style individuals were fewer than those of analytic cognitive style individuals, and the average fixation duration of wholist cognitive style individuals was longer than that of analytic cognitive style individuals; While reading easy Chinese descriptive text, indexes of eye movement of different cognitive style individuals have no difference.
