The Origin of the World records mainly about the emperors in ancient times and the peers'biography, which is very important and authentic. It not only records their activity in every day, but also records their inventions and their posthumous titles. Although a lot of scholars have used it in their compositions, the research of the book is not enough.Mr.Qi Sihe and Mr. Wang Yude et al have had some compositions about textual research of it. Besides, Mr.Chen Mengjia and Mr.Zhang Menglun also have brief treatise of it. And Mr.Sun Haibo has compiled The Sections of Habitation in 1930's,which is creationary.This thesis mainly researched The Origin of the World, which has two chapters. The first chapter is about the author and when and how does the book go round, and the compositions about author's identity of each scholar. The thesis also has briefly described how to go round from Zhou Dynasty to Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty. And it has a form that makes an analysis to contrast the book of Qing Dynasty.The second chapter researched. The Sections of Creation, it used six kind of The Origin of the World as reference. And it gave not only the explaining of instruments but also the revision of the sentences. In a word, this thesis offered a legible text for the other scholars to go on researching the great book.
