[Aim]The aim of the paper is to gain the primary sources of the teachers' burnout in the universities, according to the questionaire inverstigation about the condition of teacher's occupational burnout in Bei Hua university. And on the basis of a lot of data, the paper makes the satistics analysis and thinks about it rationally, which can remedy the blank space of the research in teachers' occupational burnout in the universities in China.[Method] The paper is on the theoretical basis of Maslach's three standard about the occupational burnout which is organized by Maslach, utilizing the spss 10.0 statistics software to analyze the investigation result of 181 teachers' occupational burnout in Bei Hua university.[Result and discussion] The result shows: The different background factors will make the effect on the all standard of occupational burnout, such as sex, age, marriage, subject, ages of teaching and so on, especially on the effect of emotion exhaustion and achievement feeling. The main reason to cause the teachers'occupational burnout is the pressure which comes from the evaluation and reform. The main source of the pressure are as the following: the nature of job's load, the feature of educational object, the meassure of the university's administration and personal factors.[Conclusion] In the main, the teachers' occupational burnout is not so serious, but the emotion exhaustion begins to turn up. To prevernt the deeper occupational burnout, the unversity's administration should guard against and dull the pressure through many ways and at the same time, the teachers themselves also should strengthen the ability to adjust their own psychology.
