Mozi lived in a time when the slave society changed into feudal society, while Adam Smith lived in a period feudalism transformed into capitalism. In comparison with these two R-B thoughts, they had based their thoughts on the humanity and R-B theory the ideal of self-seeking rationally, thinking highly of public merit and bringing up the idea that R-B thoughts exist harmoniously and promoting frugality as well. Nevertheless, they are the thinkers whole lived in different times with different cultures. Their R-B thoughts are bound to reflect the politics, economy and society of their own. Therefore, R-B thoughts distinguished in social class. Mozi's R-B thoughts mainly emphasized on the public benefit which overweight self-benefit. Adam Smith's R-B thoughts, seeking self-benefit which can eventually promoted prosperity in society, is opposite to Mozi's. in harmonizing the righterousness and benefit, Mozi tried to realize his "both-love" idea by teaching, while Adam Smith opened an epoch of capitalism and free economy system through the "invisible-hand" economy method. We can say, Mozi is idealist of public benefit, while Adam Smith is s realist of "utilitarianism".By the profound and delicate comparative analysis .This passage also shows that Mozi and Adam Smiths' thought have pushed the dramatic changes of the respective society. Mozi respresented nature limitation and the ideal of the rightness and benefits of the lover labor class while Adam Smiths represented the progressional benefit of rising bourgeoisie and the scientific element of the R-B. As a result, their thought had different consequences in the history: Mozi's thoughts uitherd away, but Adam Smith's has been conting nowadays. Eventhough, but there are some positive theory and pratise value. In theory their R-B thoughts to the change of rightors and benefits though under the socialism's market economy.
