The Sinicization of Marxist philosophy covers two aspects. One is the link of the basic principle of Marxist philosophy with the social practice in China. This link aims to guide China's socialist revolution and construction. The other refers to the combination of Marxist philosophy with China's traditional philosophy, which results in the Marxist philosophical system with Chinese style and mettle by critically inheriting historical heritage.Mao Zedong is the pioneer and founder of Sinicization of Marxist philosophy. He not only put forward the Sinicization of Marxist philosophy, but also created Mao Zedong philosophical thoughts by integrating the basic principle of Marxist philosophy with the specific practice of China's revolution, and with excellent traditional philosophy and culture in China. In addition, he contributed to the forming of the materialism which is based on seeking truth from facts, the active and revolutionary theory of reflection which emphases social practice, the materialist dialectics which focuses on the law of contraction and the social historical outlook which centers on the masses. The study in this issue is of great significance to the correct understanding and handling China's traditional culture and alien culture, diversification in culture and centralization in guiding thought as well as the further promotion of Sinicization of Marxist philosophy.
