The first case of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome was reported about twenty years ago, there were more than 60 million people living with HIV/AIDS, causing 3 million people deaths in the world. Both national and international researchers pointed out that the population migration is an enable factor in the transmission of HIV. Nowadays, in China, migrant population increased sharply, and it reached 120 million in 2003. Most of them incline to AIDS. The researches on AIDS both at home and abroad are limited to medical mode mainly. Common researches are what medical specialists have done on the cause of disease, and its etiology , diagnosing , treatment and prevention. The methods they adopt are mainly clinical experiments, questionnaires and scales etc. Especially many HIV-positives and patients vividly record and describe their experiences and feelings in their autobiographies. They examined closely the prevalence and prevention of AIDS from patients' point of view, thus enriched studies of AIDS, and deepened our understanding. This research used the field-study method. By participating observation, surveying and interviewing migrant people and related people in Yaitai railway station and 12.1 activity scene, the researcher tried to clearly and fully described the knowledge, attitude and practice on AIDS of the Migrant Population and what the related departments have done about it. By doing this, the researcher wanted to provide a phenomenal description for understanding migrant population and AIDS. The result showed that: 1. Migrant people had not recognized the danger of HIV/AIDS, there was 13.1% of the persons inquired refused to answer the question, and there was 38.3% of the persons investigated thought AIDS has nothing to do with themselves; 2. Migrant population knew less HIV/AIDS knowledge, nearly half (49.8%) of the persons investigated knew HIV can be infected by mosquitoes, there was 31.8% of them knew HIV can be infected when having tooth pulled out, only 52.5% of them expressed that they knew HIV can be shielded by correctly using condom; 3. Most of migrant population had the attitude of stigma and discrimination to HIV/AIDS infections, for example, there was 52.9% of them showed they feel frightened of HIV/AIDS; 4. The number of migrant population with high-risk behavior to AIDS was relatively high, unmarried people who had sexual behavior was more than one fourth (27.1%); 5. As a whole, persons who knew more knowledge were prior to take positive attitude to HIV/AIDS and secure behavior to prevent it, which was not accord with the result of the individual interview, for example, some interviewees knew a lot about HIV/AIDS but could not avoid the high-risk behavior, the reason was complicated; 6. Some traditional precautionary measures have less effect, according to the result of the survey, they are not paid any attention to and liked by migrant population; 7. Only less people thought it no need to have HIV/AIDS knowledge, rather, people had different resources to acquire the knowledge of HIV/AIDS; 8. Migrant population gave their suggestion about prevention to HIV/AIDS, they reported the consideration actively and clearly.
