The high-speed development of Computer-Generated Images techniques makes the 3D-animated film, which is a newborn form of movie with only 20 years' history, capture the eyes of the audiences in such a short period. The films not only bring the audiences happy astonishment and visual enjoyment, but also the consolation and satisfaction in the soul. Many fields which couldn't be touched by human can be described vividly as the real here in the movies. It is evoked once again that the childlike innocence deeply in the heart. However, the design of brand mascot is not prosperous as the same, which still stay in the two-dimensional and static state. Although a few corporations start to create images of brand, but as a matter of fact most of them still do not realize the important role brand mascot has played in enriching the images and communicating with the customers. According to the reasons above, the paper mainly discuss the restricted factors that both the characters in the 3D-animated films and brand mascot should be affected, and their general factors as the characters in the movies should have their own lively personalities, and the brand mascot should be true of the brand key value, that express the brand individuality evidently. The characteristic is the bridge between them to establish the analogous relationship. The motional expression techniques of the parts in 3D-animated films have been studied in this paper, including type of figure, facial expression, rule of motion and mutual relations. Thereby, the resemble regulars could be put into the same box. There are five boxes: pure, stimulative, competent, well-bred and strong, which are typical brand individualities as well. The regular principles of design are well set out in each box, so that the designers would get the trends of design accurately and conveniently, and the figures what they have created not only accord with the brand key value, but also feel attractive.In addition, the brand mascot should be widely used in many more medias, especially some burgeoning medias such as the vision on the transportation and the color note & game on the cell phone. After holding the rules proficiently, the designerwould take practice of the rules with creativity, and finally break the rules. In order that the mascot helps the brand to become a method that consumers express their way of lives and their personal assertions. Much closer the distance is between the brand and the consumers, more benefits the corporation will get.
