The methodological switch and the research on plutonomy bears a vital value in that they directed the heading and largely determined the future of authors, signifying the oncoming emergence and social revolution. It just like the light through which we see. It sheds color on the new materialism and determined how the other questions would be handled.Specifically, there are two reformations in the new world review. First, it applies materialist principle to all aspect of the man-world relationship, especially to consciousness. The traditional conception of mind is overturned and dissolved. Its materialist nature therefore solidified. The shadow that for long haunting cosmology, history and ego-cognition has removed. The proposition that "the oneness of the world relies on matter" has been approved. A complete materialist world review has ser up, and all kinds of idealist ones refuted. Second, "object" is reviewed as the results of man's practical sensations, given the prior exist of it. And it is than become the objective precondition of man's practice. It is a "course", a "substance undergoing ever-changing development". This comprehension of "object" sticks to the general principle of materialism. And the flow of man's practice is seen a basic circumstances of it. Consequently, the principle of materialism is coherent with dialectic, and new materialism deviated from all the former ones. The initiators of the new materialism declared that it is the working-class and their liberation that the new world review serves. And this is their ultimate motive and value orientation.
