The change of American Jewish economic condition becomes the steady base of Jewsgrowing up in the United States in the early days of 20th century. In the period Jewishimmigrants infiltrated every work of life in the society of America. They contributed great theprosperity of American economy, and pioneered many new industries—filmdom andentertainment, for example. The reason why the Jews succeeded included their persistentendeavor and their antique Jewish cultural tradition. The Jews improved the prosperity of theAmerican economy as well as changed their own destinies.The first part of the paper is about the history background. The part shows the history ofJews coming America, including immigration reason, origin, number and living condition inAmerica. The second part of the paper analyses American Jewish economic condition fromoccupation, earning, education and living in the early days of 20th century. We come to aconclusion Jewish immigrants' economic condition was looking up. The third part of thepaper researches the reason of the change from American society and Jewish culture.At last we come to a conclusion Jewish immigrants' economic looking up that is thetransition period of Jews growing up in the USA.
