Buddhism And "the Record Of Yi Jian"

Yi Jian Zhi is a classical Chinese Zhi-guai stories which contains lots of folk belief inthe Song dynasty. Hongmai 'Buddhism principles and the preparation of the book areextremely beneficial to our cultural studies about it. In this thesis I tried to study therelantionship between Buddhism and Yi Jian Zhi from Buddhism cultural perspective, thenwe will know Song dynasty Buddhism folk belief situation and the influence of Buddhism onthe ancient Chinese narrative literary.This thesis consists of four parts:Partâ… :foreword part makes a simple rewiew of the studies on Yi Jian Zhi.Partâ…¡: Yi Jian Zhi was combiled in special way ,which make it has unique value on thecultural study.Part â…¢:. Through the analytical investigation about Buddha-dharma-sangha of Yi JianZhi , the development and characteristics of Buddhism beliefs can be seen clearly.Part â…£: the influence of samsara on the Yi Jian Zhi' literary expression;under the impactof Buddhism,the literary world had been reconstructed.ultimate conclusion :from the Yi Jian Zhi ,it can be seen Buddha-dharma-sangha was inthe course of Secularization in Song dynasty. The philosophy of Buddha has been diluted ,Buddha itself has started does not mean belief .Their tinking and action just like commonperson, privatization characteristic appeared at same time. Buddhist monk have beenseparated with Buddhism and its theory .I n the eyes of the mass ,mysterious of Buddhistmonk disappeared, their status declined to the believers. To Buddhism, people lay stress onform only. Buddhism had a significant impact on the Yi Jian Zhi' literary expression: Theidea of retribution is an important reason for the rang of subject expansion and narrativestructure 'symmetrical features of Yi Jian Zhi.The nether world is closer to the human world .The relation of human and ghost have changed, they can coexist in the world in the sameway;The living thing in the same world represent different generation. so the literary worldwas greatly broadened.
