Factors Structure Research Of Raven Standard Reasoning Test

Raven standard reasoning test is the non-language intelligence test which is designed by English famous psychologists, Raven. As one of the outstanding traditional intelligence tests, it have been proved, and is still playing an important role in practice.The result interpretation of Raven standard reasoning test depends on a measurement model of single factor, it is impossible to explain accurately individual differences and provide interviewee with diagnostic information. To bring into play the traditional outstanding intelligence tests effectiveness, the new approach must be adopted to conduct research into Raven standard reasoning test.In this paper, traditional intelligence test is based on combining psychological theory with psychological measurement. The factors of Raven test is conducted analysis,and a new measurement model of the factors structure is put forward on the basis of the original measurement model,and is verified by the actual survey data.The study reflects two trends of the psychological test development: the traditional intelligence testing requires for the support of theoretical psychology;Research on based psychology needs to be confirmed by data of the realistic intelligence testing.The main aim is to make use of research accomplishment of cognitive psychology and psychological measurement to rebuild the factors structure of Raven standard reasoning test, to improve the structure of its original single-factor model.Research methods are mainly oral report, interview, survey, cognitive componential analysis, structural equation modeling.The results show that the established measurement model of factors structure of Raven standard reasoning test have certain rationality in the study.The model is better than other competing models in the whole,and provides a more reliable cognitive psychology basis to try to explain individual differences. It supplements and enriches also the results interpretation of the original test. In practice, the interviewee will be given more detailed information feedback by way of combining the original models with new models.Finally, the deficiencies of the study are analyzed in the discussion part, examples are given to explain that the new factors structure model of Raven standard reasoning test in the application is effective.
