Liu Heng is usually considered to be a writer of new realism in the history of contemporary literature. As a genre name that has been accepted by the public, new realism is used to describe the realistic works with some new characteristics, appearing around 1987 when the production of pioneer novels was at low ebb. People admit the achievements the new realistic novels have reached and at the same time animadvert on its spirit direction in succession, generally denying its value by the name of lack in humanism and depth. But from the actual production of Liu Heng, we can see this judgment is lack of justice and is a bit unilateral, which will possibly cause Liu Heng's works to be covered in some way. But it's just his attempt to challenge himself, not his ultima goal. What he loves most is still literature production. Fathers have divided Liu's production into three periods: early period, skilled period, and changing period, while this paper divides his production into two periods, early period and skilled period, 1986 as borderline. The reason is that there is a clear clue in his works after 1986 which is the concern about the nature of life .Text:This part mainly unveils the deep meaning of Liu's works and its characteristics in art by analyzing the subjects of the novels and analyzing the narrating art.
