The magazine of New Youth is the most famous significant publication in The May Fourth New Culture Movement. It brought profound infection for ideology, politic, culture and literature of Chinese modern society. Based on the collection and analysis for much information, I think that most researchers on New Youth emphasized its role as part of ideological, political or literary history, but lacked the study for the magazine of New Youth. Recently, a little researcher began to pay attention to New Youth itself, but they localized the communication and infection of the modern media New Youth in the developed East of China. So, the studied content of my thesis select the communication of the magazine of New Youth in the west of China. It study not only the transmitted route and specialty but also the effect for the social ideology and politics in the west of China and the importance meaning for the western modern literature's creation and development.I introduces the conception of "ideological revolution" and "literary revolution" that were advocated by the New Youth this modern media; the conception produced unprecedented large force for Chinese society. This part make a comprehensive description for the worth and effect.The first chapter studies the media state and specialty of New Youth in the west of China. There have two different communication approaches. Direct media get across selling by some progressive bookshop and the communication by the movement of people. Indirect media have three approaches: the first one is Renaissance and The Weekly Criticism that circle New Youth. The second one is some progressive publication that is originated in other places and emitted in local places by the youthful student. The third one is some publication that is originated by some western intellectual and propagated openly the progressive conception. Furthermore, because of low level of culture and education in the old China, the communication of New Youth in the west of China also adopted oral media method. The characteristic of communication of New Youth has two sides, the first one is backward and unbalanced, the second one is lacking in feedback and enough in received.Chapter two discuss that the communication of New Youth leaded to the great influence for ideology and politics of the west of China.
