Relationship Between Longhai Railway And Urban Development Of Guanzhong Region During 1912～1945

After the industry revolutionary, urban becomes important in countries and areas with the development of industry .At the same time, urban problem , urban economy, urbanization, urban culture and so on ,leads to peple's attention .After 1980's ,urban researches are popular in China .Theses researches are focus on Southeast China ,and have got abundant achievements ,while the urban researches in mid-west are weak comparatively .From the research period of time ,there is less in Minguo period ,while more in Ming-Qing Dynasty; there is less on urban and railway.Guanzhong area has long history in China and its urban economy was very flourish ,which was closely related to its positive transportion condition .but with the change of transportion condition ,the urban economy of Guanzhong area declined .During Ming-Qing Dynasty,with the development of commodity economy in China ,commodity transaction developed ,so did Guanzhong area .But Guanzhong area is located in inland area ,it was short of trunk rail line ,which could develop external economy and its highway and transport by water rank relatively lowed too .Because of its limit condition ,the urban of Guanzhong could not maximize its potential and widened the gap with other area .After Longhai Railway was built and put into use in Guanzhong area ,the location of this area has made foundamental changes and progress.Because urban development has continuity and succession ,I hope this article can provide references and lessons for Guanzhong urban constniction and the development of Western area.This article are divided into four parts :The first part is preface .It includes meaning ,contents and ways and so on .In addition ,I have made correlation conceptions definited .Urban problem is a hot issue now .This article tries to fill up the gap .The second part :discuss Guanzhong urban during the earlier period of Minguo .Such as urban scale ,urban population ,urban economy and so on .The third part .discuss Guanzhong urban after the building of Longhai Railway .It includes urban scale ,urban population ,urban shape ,urban landscape, urban internal composition and so on and make further compare research.The last part :discuss Longhai Railway's function on urban development ,...
