Discourse Gender Differences In Language

People are the inventors and the users of the language. People's main body consciousness has fully manifested in the language creation and the utilization process. People have division of the male and female. Thus language also has the gender characteristic inevitably. Male and female language is the reflection of the profound and complicated consciousness about gender that embedded in and behind a language. This not only is male and female understanding on the society, culture, history in the language's reflection. It is the society, culture, and history that put male and female standard and the limit in the language. Separately from the pronunciation, the writing, the glossary, the language application several aspects, the dissertation analyze gender differences in language in terms of the static state and the dynamic state. It has promulgated besides the physiological factor, the psychological factor and the society cultural element are more important reason that create gender differences in language. In addition, the thesis thought we must understand gender differences in language correctly and set it in the dynamic process which unceasingly changes, considering its relativity. Today human communication is so frequent. Consequently in real life person, no matter men and women, should adjust language felicitously, according to the linguistic environment changing, in order to achieve the best human communication effect.
