With the approach of psychoanalytic criticism and cultural identity theory, the translator's religious belief, idea or concept about culture is the core of this research.Chapter 2 is the theoretical part, which is devoted to reorganize the definitions of cultural identity, it main characteristics such as hybrid, asymmetrical power relation, and the "other" position. The author analyzes the source and research mode of cultural identity. Cultural identity varies in the time and spatial transference. It is a continuum with the construction. Then it analyzes cultural identity from the perspective of the translator, which includes mainstream country identity, national identity and regional identity. The author puts forward to the location of the translator's cultural identity under the situation of globalization and nationalization.
