The seven sages of the bamboo grove's metaphysics is the inevitable link in the development of Wei and Jin Dynasties' metaphysics. Furthermore, the seven sages was the most noticeable group who had noteworthy conducts and independent characters in the esquires. Their identification and development of Chuang-zi's philosophy obviously reflected in their words and deeds manner and writing books to expound a doctrine. This article first inspected the seven sages' academic idea of transformation, from upholding "Lao-zi" to highlighting "Chuang_zi". From the beginning to the bamboo grove, the gravity of Wei and Jin Dynasties' metaphysics had obvious shift: from the positive salvation to running away the world and saving oneself. Their academic idea changed: transforming "Lao-zi" into "Chuang-zi" as the classics. Although they belonged to the same group, but they differently realized and practiced Chuang-zi's philosophy. The thesis is precisely based on this point. At first, it introduces the seven sages of the bamboo grove's academic orientation in theoverall. After establishing the bamboo grove metaphysics' special characteristic------Chuang-zi's philosophy, it introduces each independent individual thought of understanding and practicing "Chuang-zi" one by one. Ruan Ji used the proposition "identifying myriad things "," identifying death and lives"," identifying the right and the wrong" to formulate Chuang-zi's idea of uneven myriad things, uneven life and death, uneven the right and the wrong. Molding ideal personality and pursuing the supreme boundary, Ruan Ji and Chuang-zi had similar yearning and realization way. Ji Kang inherited and developed Chuang-zi's naturalism, proposing the proposition of "surpassing Confucian but regressing nature". He showed what was natural? Why it was necessary to regress nature? How to regress nature? And after the regression nature, how can the individual boundary promote? Ji Kang also used Chuang-zi's naturalism to explain music production and the question that there was no emotion in music itself. About keeping in good health, Ji Kang persisted Chuang-zi's standpoint.
