Based on the results of the study, the purpose of the thesis is to figure out the elements influencing the autonomy and to analyze the situation of learner autonomy in Guangxi University. By focusing on the learner-centered classroom teaching model, the thesis points out that by taking advantage of the multi-media facilities and the internet, and by using task-based language teaching approach in computer-assisted network classrooms, good results in learner autonomy will be achieved.
