A Study On "P'i Lin, P'i K'ung" In Fujian During The Great Culture Revolution

The thesis researches the movement of "P'i lin , P'i K'ung" in Fujian Province, which was a large-scale mass movement in the later stage of "the Great Cultural Revolution". Firstly, the thesis introduces the nationwide general situation of the movement of "P'i lin , P'i K'ung". Secondly, the thesis makes a recapitulative introduction of the circumstance that the movement of "P'i lin, P'i K'ung" carried out in Fujian Province, anatomizing emphatically the negative influence on various aspects of the economy and social life of Fujian Province. Lastly the writer analyzes from the relationship between the inevitability and the fortuity, and points out that the value tropism of the traditional feudal authoritarianism and the traditional Marxist class warfare leads to the leftist mistakes of "taking class warfare as the outline". The movement of P'i lin , P'i K'ung" is the inevitable result of the long-term development of the leftist mistakes. And it's occasional that Mao Zedong adopts the mode of the large-scale mass movement which possesses the individual colors.
