Post-modern Movie And Female Image

In the movie history over one hundred of years, there have been three types: classic movie, modern movie and post-modern movie. As the product of post-modernism and mass culture, the post-modern movie de-constructs classic and tradition by its unique features in the content, angle, structure and image. Based on movie criticism on feminism, this thesis will focus on the female images in post-modern movies, and analyze whether post-modern movies break through traditional stereotype.
