The Landscape Sketching Report

It is followed by the Chinese scenery paintings that "the division comes in a psychological source". Sketching can digest the tradition and also develop it. Absorbed in the nature, painters can intake the physical images for the art, borrow and digest the traditional language, which also puts the painters on the way to innovation.Chinese landscape painters should focus on how to inherit the tradition and learn from the nature. I have made some exploration in this area and now put these practices and attempt in the report.The report is divided into three parts :First, the study of traditional landscape paintings as well as the relationship between life drawing and copying combined with the analysis of some specific works.Second, the reflection of the use of traditional language in art and its sketching practice.Third, the summary of Tian taishan paintings from nature and the focus lies in the painting process including the observation, analysis and mapping.
