Vocabulary is one of the three essential factors of language. Language is made up by vocabularies. Pronunciation and grammar both manifest in vocabulary. Left vocabularies the language will not exist. So vocabulary teaching is very important in language teaching. Textbook is a material that the teacher teaching and the student studying rest on. Not only is it the reflection of teaching theory and teaching method, but also the connection of system design and classroom teaching that directly based on it. Therefore the new-word arrangement in textbook will affect the vocabulary teaching quality in great degree.This paper is for the purpose of understanding relationships between the new-word and the text, discussing in the vocabulary teaching how to make the new-word's distribution in the text be more scientific and suit the rule which the student studies, how adjust the new-word's repetition in the text and how effectively improve the teaching efficiency. It will try to discover the problems that possibly exist in the textbook, propose the constructive opinion, bring the consummation and development to the vocabulary teaching theory, and improve the vocabulary teaching quality.This paper will take the Chinese textbook Hanyu Jiaocheng as an example,...
