Christianity is one of the world's three major religions. In their development process, it formed their Christian culture in different times and regions. To be involved here is a part of the spreading of Christianity to the world: Christianity had spread in ancient England from the end of the 2nd century until the 8th century. This period was selected because it covers the whole process in which the Christian was brought into Britain for the first time, and at last became the dominant religion in the England islands. It can be more comprehensive and complete reflection of the gradual growth of Christianity in the situation.The whole article is composed of introduction, text and conclusion.Introduction briefed on the condition of international academic research to the subject and the significance of selecting the subject.Text of the article mainly inspects the process of the Christianity spreading in ancient England. Then it will be divided into four parts to be discussed in the article. The first one is the Christian initial contact with ancient Britain. Second, the dissemination of Christianity in Ireland. Third, the Christianity's spreading in Britain. Fourth, the uniting of England Church, mainly discusses the unity and the contradictions between Rome Church and Celtic Church, and after that, the integration of the Archbishop Theodore to England Church.Finally, in the concluding remarks, say, culture as a body, its growing and change is an interesting issue. On this issue, although this article has donesome exploring, there are many elements to further studied.
