The Study In The Thought And The Narrative Art Of The Complement Of The Journey To The West

The ghost fiction, named the complement of the journey to the west, was complimented and focused by lots of scholars from one generation to another because of its fantastic imagination. For the short length, however, the fiction was not emphasized enough by the academic circle. The subjects of the research were relatively insufficient. In the thesis, we analyzed and researched the purport of the fiction, the connotation of its thought, the art technics and the deep meaning through the aspects of history and philosophy.This thesis was divided into six parts: The Introduction, The Analysis of its Structure, The Creative Purport, The Narrative Art, The Analysis of its Content and Thought, The Conclusion.In the part of The Introduction, we introduced the background of the fiction, the research status in home and abroad, the research goal and significance, the status of its version and the analytic question in this thesis.In the part of The Analysis of its Structure, we researched the structure of this fiction, analyzed the relationship and difference between different chapters, analyzed the profound value in the fiction through the complemented content and reason.In the part of Creative Purport, deduced the meaning of feeling in the fiction and the purport of anti-feeling through analyzed its content, researched the reason of anti-feeling and the concealed meaning in thethought of anti-feeling through the aspects of philosophy, history and psychology.In the part of Narrative Art, analyzed the main characteristic of the narrative art, the creative technics of dream, the treatment of space and time, researched the distinguishing feature and the reason of the dreamful creation. Through the expressing methods, the background of the author and the goal of creation, analyzed the marvelous narrative art through the unique sarcastic technics, plenty of psychological depiction, comprehensive absorption in folk art and so on.In the part of The Analysis of its Content and Thought, analyzed the thought of Zen in the fiction and the unreal existence of feeling, researched the reason and the deep meaning used the thought of Buddhism. Revealed the contradiction of the thought in the fiction through the exposition of the stale reality, the anxiety about the fate of the country and the growing environment of the author.In the part of Conclusion, deduced the purport of the fiction, the value of its thought, confirmed its status and influence in Chinese ancient fiction history, analyzed the flaws in the fiction.
