This article consists of four parts:Part one makes an overall discussion on the theories concerned about cognitive development. In this part, the author not only introduces the origin and development of Cognitive Development Theories, but focuses esp. on the theory of J. Piaget in a relatively overall way.Part two concerns something about what is juvenile delinquency in order to study the causes and prevention system of it in the following parts, using methods of all academic subjects involving criminal and developmental psychology, criminology, philosophy and sociology and so on.Part three is about the causes of juvenile delinquency from the viewpoint of J. Piaget. The author tries to analyze the causes from the subjective and objective aspects.Part four suggests the prevention system for the juvenile crime. To justify its feasibility, deep interpretation of and research into current social background and the theory sources of this system has been made by author for this system, which, in turn, manifests a degree of innovation to some extent.
