| Minors are the future of our motherland, whose healthy growths are intensively related to the nation’s prosperity. However, in recent years, juvenile crime has increasingly become an extrusive problem, affecting the social order. Bad behaviors in the juvenile group are expanding rapidly, and underlying causes of crime are also growing, resulted in more and more bad circumstances, social risks and serious social harm. This paper is to explore the minor crime problem from the ethical perspective. It is divided into the following three parts:The first part is minor crime and the moral reasons.First of all, the concepts of minors and crime are identified, and then minor crime is defined after the identifications. Although the number of minor crime has declined in recent years, some features we need to focus on have appeared: Minor crime is not a result of the misconduct made by a certain area, a certain department or a certain chain. It is a complex social problem resulted from not only the subjects’ lack of correct morality, but also objective factors from families, schools and society, etc.The second part is the ethical path for the minor crime prevention. Minor crime prevention first should be started from minors’ correct moral values. In addition, to enhance the level of families’ moral education, to establish the dominant position of schools’ moral education, to accelerate the construction of social morals, and set moral examples for minors.The third part is the correction of juvenile delinquents ethics and its principles and methods. Because the minor crime has its particularity, which is different from adults’, the correction of juvenile delinquents should pay more attention to ethics, adhering to the people-oriented principle, the principle of differential treatment in education, the guidance principle in the process of correction, etc. What’s more, families and society should give full care and love to the minors, and help them get through the special period. |
