The Study On The Difference Of Relatedness False Memory Influenced By Individual's Personality And Emotion State

False memory comes from that people's tendency to mistakenly recall and recognize the events that never happened or recall and recognize them quite differently from the way in which they occurred. Relatedness false memory is a general exiting phenomenon about false memory to words. There are few researches about the Individual differences to relatedness false memory and few of the study on the Individual differences of individual's personality trait in susceptibility to relatedness false memory. This paper examines the impact of the high and low neuroticism, introversion and extroversion and different emotions to the false memory through three experiments based on The Deese-Roediger-McDermott (DRM ) paradigm, which are the experiment of impact of the emotion words to false memory, the experiment of impact of personality trait to false memory and the experiment of impact of personality trait to false memory in different emotions. The findings are:1 , In semantic association conditions, participants produce significant false recognition of lures either neural words or emotion activation words, which also proves that DRM paradigm has effect on activation of false memory. There are differences between false recognition of neural lures and emotional lures. The false recognition rate of neural lures is more than positive or neutral lures.2, The impact of personality trait of false memory is found. This paper also finds there is individual difference in relatedness false memory in virtue of personality traits. Low neuroticism is more vulnerable to occur relatedness false memory than high neuroticism.3, The relatedness false memory is influenced by neuroticism which reflects the emotional stability, but it does not influenced by the traits of introversion and extroversion which reflects impulsion.4, For relatedness false memory, there are no interaction with emotion and personality traits whether the participants have what traits.5, If only measure false recognition of memory, the emotional state does not...
