Comparative Analysis Of Chinese And Foreign Cyberliterature

Following the development of Internet, cyberliterature emerged on the network. It is a new factor of world literature on the platform of Internet which has developed all over the world. Many readers are absorded in the hypertext and other kinds of cybertexts. Researching the development and different characteristics of the cyberliterature in various countries is a new subject of literature study at present.. Now there are many the treatises by domestic and foreign scholars discussing about cyberliterature. These treatises analyzed the technical and aesthetic characteristic of cyberliterature systematically. But there are seldom compositions talk about the concrete type and subject of them. So this thesis aim at analyzing the development situation and different feature of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature.This thesis has three parts which focus on the analyzing the general situation, different circumstance, similarities and differences of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature respectively.The first part analyzed the general development of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature. On the basis of investigating the distribution and composition of global netizen all over the world, this part first analyzed the name of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature and the process they have been defined; then issued its two developing stages; finally analyzed the concrete feature of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature according to the different technological characteristics, network circumstance, types and subjects of cybertext.The second part described the different traditional culture and spirit, realistic social circumstance and traditional popular literature's influence on the development and type of cyberliterature in different countries. Different culture and literature tradition, high development of American-European cultural industrial system and network publishing business, China network as a free space to contemporary young people are all the important reasons of difference between Chinese and foreign cyberliterature.The third part concentrate on analyzing homogeneity and heterogeneity factors of Chinese and foreign cyberliterature.
