The Golden Calf Award was initiated in 1985.It specially rewards outstanding children's film makers and creative personnels well as to inspire those who have made outstanding contributions in this field.But this award was merged into The Hua Biao Award in 2005, after then, The Golden Calf Award ended up.In this 20 years(froml985 to 2005), The Golden Calf Award has always companied with Chinese children's film.And the history of The Golden Calf Award reflected the change of Chinese film's view of children.
