The researches on need for closure are prosperous, while the affect of need for closure on information processing is becoming the focus. Researchers are trying to find out how the need for closure affects one's information processing by measuring the time one needs to make a decision. But the previous studies have only find the result of the affect of need for closure on information processing, can not give satisfying explanation on the affect mechanism, and there are some limitations on the selection of variables.The previous researches has only test the situational need for closure by operating positional factors such as time pressure, noise or cognitive load, no Non-situational need for closure has been tested. Non-situational need for closure is one of stable individual differences; it is more valuable to study the affect of non-situational need for closure. The present article aims to solve these problems.The present research includes scale revising and experiment. The scale revising includes translation of original scale, item supplement and selection, reliability, and validation testing.
