On Cai Yuanpei's Ethic Thoughts

Cai Yuanpei is a significant person in modern history, whose thinking was concerned about lots of fields ,including education, aesthetics, ethics , philosophy, science and so on. This thesis aims to introduce the background of Chinese traditional Confucian culture and western contemporary liberal ,equal ideas which had effected on Cai Yuanpei's double influences. With the core of "liberal view" and his thinking ,I attempt to deeply discuss Cai Yuanpei's ethics in order to achieve moral paideia thinking of perfect characteristic ,display the combination of his Chinese—western culture and ethic thinking, then demonstrate the contemporary value of his thinking.
