Rules is a high-level and useful learning form. The study of rules through the worked examples is an important way of learning. The study inspected 270 children from 3-5 grades to learn the removing-bracket rule through worked examples. Comparing the different example types and different types of rules, we reached the following conclusions :Firstly , the primary students had the abilities to learn the removing-bracket rule through worked examples, 3-5 grade students' ability to learn the removing-bracket rule through worked example was developmental, the higher grade which learn the rule through worked examples had more powerful capabilities; Secondly, the students' performances of numeral operation was better than their performances of algebra operation in the removing-bracket rule obviously , and their achievements in plus-sign-problem was better than in subtraction-sign-problem; Thirdly, when to learn the removing-bracket rule through worked examples, the classification task was to promote the role; The last, when the primary students learned the removing-bracket rule through worked examples , the results of complete examples and incomplete examples was not the same, the difficulty of different types of rules had an impact on the effectiveness of learning, complete example mainly affecting less difficult types of rules learning results, incomplete example mainly impacting more difficult types of rules learning results.
