The Study Of The Narrative Theory Of Tzvtan Todorov

The disquisition studies the developing of literature theory of Tzvtan Todorov from 1960's to 1970's. In the article, I point out the transmitting of Todorov's exoterica from the study of discourse to the study of narrative. So, we can view panorama of his narrative theory.The dissertation focuses concentration on elaborative combing Todorov's narrative theory. At the same time , the narrative theory of Todorov which is neglected by domestic academia in the end of 1970's is introduced into the discourse. Todorov's narrative theory is continuously changing and developing, Todorov finds the narrative discourse in the literature discourse, and crates the narrative syntax by illuminating the narrative discourse. At last, we saw the transformation theory by the study of narrative syntax. All these efforts are marshaled as the summit of his narrative theory.In former times, about the theory of Todorov, we mainly accept it but not criticize. Because the introduction of his theory is too simple to roundly look on the contributions and significance of Todorov's narrative theory. I detailedly dissertate the theory of Todorov, and cognize and reinforce the short of integrality and profundity of his theory.
