Non-material cultural heritage is short for "Non-Heritage",which refers to a form of cultural expression existing in the form of non-material,and is closely related to the life of the masses and handed down from age to age.Intangible cultural heritage is a symbol of the historical and cultural achievements of a country or even a nation. It is not only of great significance to the study of the evolution of human history and civilization, but also can show the cultural diversity of the world to the people. Therefore,it is an important part of human culture. However, with the rapid development of modern industry, the phenomenon of cultural homogeneity is becoming more and more serious, causing the non-material culture of our nation to suffer tremendous impact and destruction. In addition, many folk craftsmen with non-heritage skills are gradually aging, which makes them face a serious dilemma of loss of heritage. To achieve the goal of cultural modernization, the most important thing is to strengthen the promotion and protection of national culture. The new media can transmit in fast speed and create strong interaction. Therefore, under the vigorous promotion of the state, the dissemination of traditional Chinese culture combined with the new media has become a new type of non-heritage protection measures. The visual impact and sensory stimulation of the image formed by itself have a more intuitive effect and stronger shock. When combining it with the new media, the dissemination effect is better.Hence,non-heritage documentaries have become a common type among documentaries. The purpose of non-heritage documentaries is to present the cultural changes, modern significance and value of non-heritage through images. However, nowadays, most non-heritage documentaries pay more attention to presenting certain non-heritage skills, while ignoring the narrative nature of non-heritage documentaries themselves. It is impossible to bring about the value and theme of the film without a complete narrative structure just by presenting a aesthetic feeling of non-heritage.In the study of narratology, different narrative structure symbol systems are composed of different narrative discourses. The study of narrative discourse characteristics of non-heritage documentaries helps to form a complete narrative structure. The narrative of storytelling can attract the audience's attention and deepen the audience's understanding of non-heritage culture through various artistic techniques. Therefore, this paper mainly focuses on the three theoretical levels of narrative time, narrative focus and narrative voice proposed by French narratologist Jeanette in his Narrative Discourse, which is the foundation of contemporary narratology, and combines with my graduation work Lanzhou Gourd to carry out study of the narrative discourse in non-heritage documentaries. This paper explores the unique commonalities of non-heritage documentaries regarding to narrative discourse,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the creation of non-heritage documentaries at the narrative level.
