The Research On The Captains Of The Sixteen Wei In Early-Tang Dynesty

The captains of the Sixteen Wei ,due to the significant functions both the inner defending and the outer crusaging ,were discreetly appointed by the emperors in the early_tang dynesty. The emperors appointed the captains according to their specific needs ,and therefore the constitutes of the captains showed different features. A new angle of comprehensing such subjects as"Guanlong Group","Shandong Hero","Alien addition Race Generals"can be acquaired through the review of the captains especially the constitutes of the captions.With the adjustment of the defending structure carried by emperor Xuan_zong and the changing of the frontier situation,the status of the captains became worthless and unsignificant in the period of Kaiyuan. The way of textual research and induction will be used in this thesis. In the part of the introduction some basic concepts will be defined ,the related studies will be introducted as well.There are seven chapters in this thesis,the contents include:Chapter one is a total estimate on the status of the Sixteen Wei in early_tang dynasty.Chapter twois about the releationship beteen the captains in the perioed of emperor Gao_zu and"Guanlong Group".Through analysing the composing of the captions ,we find the members of"Guanlong Group"did not play the majoeity,so we make a conclusion that"Guanlong Group"did not exist in the early_tang dynesty.Chapter three is about the releationship beteen the captions in emperor Tai_zong period and"Shandong Hero".The process in which Tai_zong put"Shandong Hero"in a very important position will be discussed as well as the reason and the way.
