The Vagueness Of "Expression"

In 1980s Chinese literature was an important part of the new era literature, whose development was influenced by western modernism thoughts. Concerning the parlance of"Returning to New Era Literature"among literature criticism society, author thinks it neglects the aesthetic connection inside of literature. Facing the lash of video and image culture in consumption society, and the commons between drama and movie art as well as the general characteristics of seeking renewal and changing in 1980s, the paper takes explorative drama in1980s as the research object and western expressionist drama as the frame of reference, seeking characters'mental realities in the vagueness of expression between the object and frame of reference and illustrating the explorative drama creation characteristics in 1980s and reasons for present literature status development.The body of this paper is divided into three parts. The first part illustrates the relevant conceptions in expressionist drama and explorative drama and figures out that"person"and"inner reality"are the common aesthetic characteristics and comparative base of expressionist drama and explorative drama. For the vagueness between expressionist drama and explorative drama, the second part seeks characters'different mental value orientations in the same creative phenomenon. The third part summarizes the differences between thinking styles of "the bank" and " the other", and concludes that "the bank" thinking style does not break through the traditional content and satisfies its own styles and skills and develops a creative fact of"Three Islands of Stability". In allusion to these issues, and from the general characteristics of 1980s, author thinks that with the leading of "the bank" thinking set, the hiding intelligentsia's "high complex" and "live in groups demands" minds are unbalanced, and hope to generate a penetrable historic mental proposition.
