His works for literature showed special charm and value. Then the relation , between person and society , between ideal and reality, became the key and focus of his spirit process. And it led to the transmutation of his style.Second, during his life, Feng Zhi accepted these thinking orderly: the traditional culture of Ru, the modern mentality of Wusi , the philosophy of Existing, and Communism. Among them, the world undertaking of Ru worked concert with the mission of saving people. And it conformed other thinking and agreed with his ideal. This determined his choice after Liberation.Finally, Feng Zhi's way showed the significance and shortcoming in Chinese intellectual's mind . They came up at the turning between the tradition and the modern time. The longing for idealism is a key to cope with modern predicament. But lack of profound reason and high independent self mind, the idealism is easy to be hollow. And it will also make modern intellectuals lose their solid standpoint on which they take on the social duty as the social conscience.
