| Travel notes were booming in the late of Ming dynasty when a large group of writers appeared, among whom Yuan Hong-dao can be regarded as the top one. His works made him outstanding in the boom and final stage of the creation of travel notes, for his strong love for landscape and travel in many places. Yuan Hong-dao's travel notes leave us much impression that they depict the charming beauty of landscape, show his strong love for landscape, and therefore his works are of some peculiar features of arts, where we can find a sort of unique tourist culture viewpoint. The thesis covers the following three parts with a purpose of further discussion of Yuan Hong-dao's characteristics of arts and tourist culture viewpoints.Yuan Hong-dao's works adore uprightness and stress tastes pursue elegance emotionally, artistically and aesthetically. In his travel notes, we can feel his strong love in landscape. As to emotional expression, we can feel his pouring sentiment along with his free will and pen. His partiality in taste is evident in his writing about nature. He lived a free-minded life: different from laymen as well as traditional confusion scholars. His travel notes are unique and full of humour and fun. Different from traditional scholars , he overcame the supposed arrogance and altered the traditional attitude to worldly life. He enjoyed the showy and luxurious life from the perspective of an average man. His travel notes are characterized by poetic and artistic realm, clear and fresh language, unique structure.In order to go further in the research of the artistic style of Yuan Hong-dao, this thesis compares Yuan Hong-dao with Liu Zong-yuan, Yuan Hong-dao with the other two brothers, Yuan Hong Dao with Li Liufang. Different from Yuan Hong-dao's favour in worldly affairs, Liu Zong-yuan devoted himself to travel notes after being relegated, so the two are different in ways of looking on nature, expressing his views.
