On The Scholarly Commentaries Of Three Professors On The Research Of Bajin

The author Bajin is one of the masters of modern literature. He had grew up with the May 4th Movement and matured by revolution. His personality charming and spirit with his amounts of works exert important influence on generations of educated youth. Along with his first important work—"Extinction", the commentary and research on it began. However, it has been recent 30 years the research becomes as an independent field by the trailblazing breakthrough and overall development. From the material collections, the chronological life to the commentaries on his works are more than hundreds. And there are about 20 scholars do research on Bajin, and among which three professors—Li Cunguang, Tan Xingguo and Chen Sihe—make a great contribution to the research of it. Their works not only have great advantage of amount, but also are the most comprehensive and systematic on Bajin's life, thoughts, works and arrangement of all other related materials.This paper tries to comment those three professors' representative scholarly treatises, but emphasize on different aspects: for Li Cunguang analyzes his "Materials on Bajin Research" and "Bajin in the Century—Life Stories and Lliterature Activities" because he is good at the collection and doing research on materials; for Chen Sihe puts the focus on his "Personality Development—Biography of Bajin"...
