Record of the Assembled Female Immortals of the Walled City by Du Guangting of the Tang is the first book recording genealogy of female immortals in Taoism history, and the earliest Taoist scripture specially recording the deed of female immortals. Carrying on the research on Record of the Assembled Female Immortals of the Walled City, this article attempts to discuss the Taoist genealogy and worship of female immortals. It represents significant meanings to knowing about the status and impact of female in Taoism, and the impact and development of Taoist culture in Chinese traditional culture, especially in thinking culture of 21 century.I think that Record of the Assembled Female Immortals of the Walled City describes a family female genealogy vividly that all female immortals are under the governing of the Holy Mother Primordial Sovereign, and the Golden Mother Primordial Sovereign, and shows the saliency of Taoism differently from other cult factions on the female worship.
