Nowadays, Internet popularizes in a speed way and the needs of web publication and browse have been abundant and specified. Therefore, further requirements about quality and level of webpage visual design are advanced. The research of this paper suits the tendency of internet development and practice needs, probes into the form and the possibility of webpage visual design in terms of color factors and hopes to summarize some webpage color expression regulations, which have certain practical value for interrelated people as the reference.The article consists of four parts. The first is the outline of interrelated basic color theory and the property of webpage color,. This part enumerates basic theories which the paper researches, including basic theory of light-visioning color, and some general theory of color expression. This part mainly consults the achievements of predecessors.The second part is the main body of the article. This part discusses and analyses the establishment and expression of the distinct character of webpage color on the base of dividing webpage color into different groups. This part initially induces some regulations which could guide practice. Meanwhile, in this part, the writer has given a large number of webpage examples, compared them longitudinally and transversely and analyzed them in depth.The third part analyzes other factors which may influence webpage color. While consulting documents in our country and abroad, the contents of this part also add the writer's some points based on her own experience.In the conclusion part, based on the forward analysis and phase sum, this part is well generalized and summarizes a series of proposal principles for the programming of webpage color project. At last, an individual prospect about developing space in the future concerning with the topic in this paper has been made.
