Ren Bo-nian and Wu Chang-shou`s family background, artistic career, making friends, artistic heritage and the synthetical comments of their art characteristics has aroused wide interests among scholars studying Ren and Wu. But the scholars has seldom been much emphasized on making a thorough inquiry into the easthetic feeling of their artistic formal language.At a new angle of view---ontology, this paper tries to profoundly and definitely comprehend Ren Bo-nian and Wu Chang-shuo`s artistic language and characteristics, by comparing and analizing their pen and ink, modeling, colors, composition etc. In this paper, Modern Psychology onVisual Sense and Construction have been used in the light of the artistic formal easthetic feeling shown by the figures in the traditional artistic words of ancient China. Based on it ,the auther also appeals that the teaching and studying of Chinese paiting can`t remain at the level of concept games about Chinese paiting theory and traditiond patten applied mechanically, either is any superficial, synthetical comments about the art works,but is the studying of ontology. Also Modern Psychology on Visual Sense, Artistic Form should be used to analize the paiting form language of the former great masters of Chinese paiting. It`s helpful for us to study and absorb the elements from ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign.
