The Restriction Of Chinese Animacy On Syntax And Meaning

In Chinese linguistics educational circle, linguistics research on life category still stays in initial stage, though life category is an old research problem. Accordingly, The paper basing on the domestic and overseas research production about life category ,tries to spread out the reseach field of Chinese life ,and analyzes the restriction of Chinese nominal's animacy on syntax and meaning. AS a focus represent of language life category, animacy can show a hierarchies sequence, which doesn't simply reflect life phenomenal of the nature.The paper in the point of view of animacy,discusses the relations between animacy of Chinese nominal's animacy and Chinese character, vocaburary, grammar, meaning, paragraph, rhetoric.It puts forward two new conceptions: upgrading and degradation.The analysis about the sentential patterns shows that difference of animacy hierarchies causes the unbalance of sentence which can adjust the structure of sentence,and concludes two tendentious rules.In the end, the paper compares the different between Chinese and English on restriction of animacy in order to study Chinese life conception, which can prove the restriction of Chinese nominal's animacy on syntax and meaning.
