Questioning is a kind of inquiry, which has the function of oppugning besides simply asking questions. Questioning in press interviews severely threatens the face of the interviewees. Therefore in order to ensure the realization of the expected aim, the implemented questioning should be applicable both technically and strategically. It has been founded that the pragmatic strategy in questioning systematic and multilayered, this paper will divides the questioning strategy of press interview into three categories: microcosmic strategies, middle-level strategies, and macrocosmic strategies. Accordingly, the usage of pragmatic strategy will be objectively described and analyzed from the above-mentioned three-level perspective. The microcosmic strategies include: the strategy of praising before the questioning; the strategy of blurring the restriction, the strategy of letting the third part ask the question; and the strategy of pointing out the inconsistency of the interviewee's words and deeds; the middle-level strategies include: the strategy of using negative questions alone; the strategy of using negative statement alone; the strategy of combining questioning with negative statement and the strategy of combining questioning with the reason to question; The macrocosmic strategies include: the strategy of timely questioning, the strategy of superadded questioning, the strategy of taking advantage of an opportunity to get the point and the strategy of exploring for another way out. In the mean time of analyzing macrocosmic strategies, we testified Qian Guanlian's Goal-intention principle which is scientific and explainable.
