The theory of the principle of Goal-direction has proposed that any rational speech acts were driven by the goal. TV show, which has a strong purpose, is a combination of interpersonal interaction and mass-communication. Interactive discourse of TV show is a hot topic for linguists at home and abroad. This thesis is based on the principle of Goal-direction and more than seven thousand transcribed corpus. The research method of the thesis is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The thesis has constructed a new model for the analysis of the interactive discourse in TV show, analyzing the goal and goal relationship, interactive discourse structure and power relationship between the host and the guest, revealing the interactive discourse characteristics of TV show. The thesis introduced transaction structure and sequence structure corresponding to sub-goal and minor sub-goal of interactive discourse in TV talk show, summed up the type and distribution of exchange structure of interactive discourse in TV talk show when the goal of speech act is convergent and conflict respectively: the most frequent exchange structure of interactive discourse in TV talk show is trace-ability feedback structure which is not independent and occurs together with other exchange structures; the most important exchange structure of interactive discourse in TV talk show are adjacent structure and cooperative overlapping and interrupting structure; progressive structure is less frequent and important. The power relationship between the host and the guest is unbalanced and changing. There are three kinds of discourse roles between the host and the guest which are not inconsistent in three periods of TV talk show. The host and the guest use different kinds of discourse strategies which are unbalanced in the main period of TV talk show. |
