Many researches on characteristics and cultural connotation of locatives have been done for a long time, as well as the systematic descriptions and researches. However, we rarely emphasize the individual locative, especially their internal contrastive analysis. " 中/里/内" figure a basic location with a high frequency in application ,which has been rarely researched individually.Based on the previous researches, this dissertation will analyze the locative structures "X 中/里/内" by contrastive and interpretive methods with the analysis of corpora. At first, this dissertation will analyze the formations of "X" and the lexical meanings of "中/里/内" which illustrate that different lexical meanings bring great influence on the formations of "X". "X 中/里/内" are not the same structures. In the following chapter, it will analyze grammatical meanings of locative structures, including judgment of grammatical meanings and relative relationships among them. The grammatical meanings are multifunction, with which the locative structures are not corresponding. At last, the dissertation will analyze the internal combinations of locative structures to the max. They still have differences even if the locative structures express the same grammatical meaning. In our opinion, "中/里/内" have the necessity to coexist, and their lexical meanings have decisive influence on the formations and grammatical meanings of locative structures. With the familiar simple structures and different meanings, "X 中/里/内" contain complicated internal semantics relations. This dissertation expounds and proves the characteristic of Chinese grammar that the deep semantic is more complicated than surface structure. Meanwhile, it reveals that the research on Chinese grammar should pay more attention to the semantics with necessity and urgency.
