Zhu Zhi-xin who is engaged in revolutionary and theoretical work in the first 20 years of the 20th century. In short revolutionary career, he took an active part in theoretical explorations on social change, in the search for the nation's development path continuously. He combined China's conditions of social and economic development in the early 20th century, and draw lessons of economic development from some countries in the world, and add some western economics theories and some economic development issues by himself, and thread together Sun Yatsen's People livelihood economic thoughts, and then made many controversial feature of the economic development perspective. The modern Chinese economic development issues which he addressed, is relate to many basic economic theory ,including China's economic development prerequisites, methods, ways , means and the coordination of various economic relations , and then form a more abundant economic development of ideological content, which has provided a theoretical reference for the development of the Chinese economy later.So far, the academic circle's study of Zhu Zhi-xin more focused on his political outlook and philosophy outlook, outlook on life, etc., on Zhu Zhi-xin's economic thought, some scholars are satisfied with a smattering of its, and more confined by the "revolution" frame at the research perspective. The thesis takes "economic development" as the core vision, and then makes a system and specialized exploration on the basis of excavating fully Zhu Zhi-xin's economic thought.Firstly, the thesis analyses the origins and background that Zhu Zhi-xin's economic thought from biographical, ideology, times. A good education, and extraordinary career on theory activity ,and the social realities on the poor and weak, which make the foundation to form Zhu Zhi-xin's economic thought on development. The early 1900s, the expansion of capitalist powers had deepened national crisis in China increasingly, and the socialist movement had sprung up in the world, which made Zhu Zhi-xin being in deep understanding the capitalist development. Meanwhile, the Waterloo 1894-95 war, and the Reform Movement of 1898, and the bleak reality of the Revolution of 1911, which touched him deeply. Therefore, Zhu Zhi-xin's own experiences by himself and social realities of modern China, which promoted him to explore economic development issue.In Modern China, the government that corrupt and incompetent make economic development lacking the necessary political environment.
